During China Sport Show in May, the committee, in cooperation with the Science and Technology Standards Department of CSGF, and the Standard Technical Committee of National Sporting Goods (TC291), organized a seminar to discuss the technical specifications of fitness trails. In addition, the committee conducted series of member recruitment activities. The recruitment brochures were distributed to more than 80 sports flooring companies. Promotional workshop was conducted, and more than 30 companies participated.

On May 21, a work meeting among the chairs was held. The meeting made clear about the focus for the committee in the second half of the year, such as facilitating member recruitment, strengthening the establishment of group standards, organizing industry activities, intensifying cooperation with CSC, and conducting industry research.

On March 9, the committee investigated the fitness trails in Beijing Qingfeng Park and Beijing Olympic forest park with the Science and Technology Standards Department of CSGF, and conducted preliminary research for the development of fitness trail standards.

In February, the sports flooring industry research led by CSGF and undertaken by the committee was officially launched. With the use of questionnaires, and interviewing with more than 270 high quality company figures, the report is expected to be released later this year.

In January, the committee cooperated with Social Responsibility Committee, and established contact with China Sports Foundation, aiming to assist the members in participating at the sports welfare projects when possible.
